How do I sign a document?

Choose Draw and sign with your trackpad, mouse or finger — on a phone it is close to signing on paper. If you already have a signature saved as a PNG, use Image instead and drag it into place.

Does editing ruin the rest of the file?

No. Your additions are written on top of the original pages, so the existing text stays selectable and searchable and the images keep their resolution. Nothing is flattened into a picture.

Is my document uploaded while I edit it?

Never. The pages are rendered and the file is rewritten entirely inside this tab — which is exactly why a contract or a bank statement is safe to open here. Turn off your Wi-Fi and the editor keeps working.
